About Hatha Yoga


There are many different yoga styles, but hardly anyone is as well-known as hatha yoga. This style includes, among other things, the standard asanas that are classically associated with yoga in Western society.

Hatha Yoga consists of three pillars: body, breath and relaxation/meditation. The combination of asanas (movement) and pranayama (breathing) should promote flexibility and patience and and generally help to increase awareness of one's own body.

Hatha yoga is good for beginners as there are exercises for every fitness or age. The yoga exercises release blockages and provide relaxation in the body and mind.

However, the positive effects have it all: through the conscious breathing, the blood circulation is improved and in everyday life, it is in the long run much easier to stay calm.
